Bouncy! Bouncy! Bouncy! Bouncy! Bouncy!
Jan. 26th, 2007 12:30 amI'm sooooooooooo excited right now!!!! And a wee bit HYPER!!!! :D Not to mention deaf and hoarse. *grins*
I went to see Lonestar, Poverneck Hillbillies (from Pittsburgh), and Ford Thurston (new guy from Pittsburgh) tonight!
I've been to a decent amount of concerts so far and this is my second favorite concert! All three acts were REALLY incredible!
I honestly don't follow too much country music much any more but I just aboslutely LOVE Lonestar so nothing else mattered.
Ford Thurston opened and not only is he cute, but he has a very nice voice and I loved the music to his songs.
Poverneck Hillbillies I've seen on PBS concerts so I was familiar with them, but they were so fun to watch in person! The fiddle/mandalin/banjo player (Chris) was just too much! He was bouncing all over the play and swiveling his hips, ALL the girls were screaming!!!
Lonestar.... I have loved Lonestar since I heard No News, ages ago! Any country song that can mention Pearl Jam, the Grateful Dead, and Jimmy Buffett gets extra points. lol I have always just loved their songs, but having a gorgeous lead singer (Richie McDonald) doesn't hurt either. Now, I'm also in love with the keyboardist (Dean Sams) too! He was a bouncing, jumping bean the whole concert! They were just so awesome to watch and fan interaction! Richie was signing autographs through the whole concert, taking peoples cameras and taking pictures for them, shaking hands constantly! I was on my feet practically the whole concert!! :D
Hopefully next week after I get my film developed, I can post some pics from tonight.
Now I'm so tired and I have to wait till tomorrow to watch Smallville! But it was worth missing it for the concert. *grins*
