I really have no opinion one way or the other about Static.  I liked Lex for the most part, but hated all the declarations of love.  I just don't buy it - from Lex or Lana.  I loved Lex's expression when he found out about the baby though.  He was so happy.  Lana's crying when telling Lex was the worst acting I have ever seen.  I actually started laughing.  I can fake-cry better than that and actually cause my own tears.  Frankly, it looked like she was sick to me.

My main complaint about Lana last night was her voluntary "static-jump".  SHE'S PREGNANT and she puts her body through something like that.  Who knows what that static would do to the baby!  Did anyone else notice, she was holding her stomach while being "transferred"?  I honestly wouldn't be surprised to find out she lost the baby from it.  She is so selfish.  She didn't want to lose Lex, which believe me - I understand, I wouldn't want to lose him either - but to take a risk like that.... to me was unbelievable.  Wasn't she thinking about the baby before she grabbed onto Staticman?  I bet if she does lose the baby, she'll blame it on someone else.  It's her own stupidity.  Personally... I'd like to see Lexmas happen again - Lana die during childbirth.  That way, the baby lives, Lex gets the baby/his heir, and we get to enjoy SV again... not Lanaville!

I miss Zod... he knew how to treat Lana! *grins*

lana sucks! I laughed when she was crying the acting was so bad. I couldn't believe she risked the baby, but I guess she's okay or they would have said something. Maybe it will be a static baby? Or maybe it got left behind. ha ha

I never watched soap operas much, but Lana's crying was worse than anything I've seen on them. She needs slapped so hard for risking the baby. I wonder if the writers expected us not to notice that?

I miss Zod too!! Yeah, nothing about their confessions of love are believable, and I am totally with you on the Lana-doing-a-voluntary-jump thing! What was she thinking???

Lana has absolutely 0% maternal instincts. I seriously feel bad for a child rasied by her. I'm actually a bit surprised that neither of them made mention of taking her to the hospital after they were rescued.

The Lexana was pretty attrocious. I found myself only partially paying attention, and it was on tape! I hate Lana, I don't even care for Lex anymore. Maybe it's bad I'm all about Ollie, but I don't care. At least Ollie is interesting.

Why on earth would Lana think about someone else, even if it was her unborn child? (well, unborn blob of cells at this point) She's such a tool.

Mmm, Zod. Zod was good stuff. Anyone who smacks Lana across the room is good stuff.

Lex still has his moments, but I just love Michael. I could never give up on Lex because of that.

Don't forget stabbing her hand with the sword! GO ZOD!

Michael definitely has saved the show with his acting. MR is good stuff, too.

I forgot the sword! GO ZOD indeed!

Followed your link from Kate's: good point! I hadn't even thought about the StaticJump, because I'd so checked out mentally and emotionally by then!

I didn't think about it at first, but when she clutched her stomach, I just thought "OMG, what is that going to do to the baby!?" Especially since she looked in pain. Personally, I didn't care about her being in pain, but the baby did nothing wrong to have to suffer for her selfishness.
