Going dark for a few days

Literally. Or at least at home. I'm at work right now.

We lost power at home yesterday around 5:30 pm and last I heard, we probably won't have it back till Sunday night some time.

5 people, 1 small house, 0 internet/tv... who will survive *g*

Should be interesting.

Oh noes!! :/ That totally sucks! I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Maybe pick up lots of candles and a deck of cards to make it through the night. And of course, paper fans and ice! Meeep!

It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. I'm hoping to pick up some lanterns or something on the way home from work today.

I'm just happy I got lots and lots of books to read. :)

ACK! You poor thing! It's hard to go without power. When it happened to us a few years ago we went to bed with the chickens and burned every candle in the house and grumped a lot. And ate out a lot.

Thankfully, we got power back earlier than expected, around 6:30 tonight.

I don't ever remember being without power for more than just a few hours, maybe 8 or so at the most. And I don't think it was ever out overnight. Was definitely interesting while it lasted.

Thankfully, we got power back on a lot earlier than expected. It was back around 6:30 tonight. So YAY! :D
